Privacy Policy

We built SGC Companion to support creators, not to collect more information than we need. This policy explains what we use and why.

Information you choose to connect

When you sign in or connect a platform, we may receive your platform account identifier, display name, profile image, email address when the platform shares it, and the permissions you approve. We also store the creator profiles, settings, Discord destinations, platform handles, Companion preferences, and memories that you choose to save.

Live chat and stream events

If you enable chat reading, alerts, or moderation features, SGC Companion processes the messages and events needed to provide those features. Conversation memory is off unless you enable it. When enabled, you choose how long remembered chat is retained.

Voice and local information

Desktop microphone recognition and locally saved streaming assets are designed to remain on the creator's computer when possible. We do not use microphone audio to advertise to you.

How we use information

We use information to provide the features you request, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve SGC Companion. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information with connected platforms only when needed to perform an action you requested. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited information while helping us operate the service. We do not give connected creators access to another creator's private Companion settings or memories.

Security and retention

We use encrypted connections, restricted access, encrypted secrets, and backups to protect the service. No system can promise perfect security. We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.

Your choices

You may disconnect a platform, turn off memory, remove saved information, or request deletion of your account. Visit Delete my data for instructions.
